George Laughing, Errr, Gecko

First Steps

I would have to say that George's first steps weren't very exciting. In fact, he has been afraid of walking without assistance for sometime. He loves running with my wife and I or even his walker, but the thought of walking on his own was frightening to George. Well for the first time today, George walked without fear. Both my wife and I are ecstatic. I am sure it won't last too long as he finds new and interesting places to get into trouble, but for now, we're rejoice.

Star Trek Posters

You know my love of Star Trek had waned quite a bit with the poor quality of recent material (Enterprise, etc), but I am getting excited even more about this new movie.

Diablo III looks amazing. Once again, Blizzard is outdoing itself, and it doesn't have the silly body shapes like in Warcraft or World of Warcraft.

The Enterprise

It's beautiful, not quite the original, but it's got the same feel with a newer look. I have to say I am impressed. I was about ready to give up on the thought that the Star Trek venue still had life in it. I pleasantly surprised.

Google Chrome

Alright, alright, I confess. I like Google Chrome. I won't use it for any major web surfing until there are more security studies done, but I am impressed. Everything loads faster as long as the connection is good. I am starting to see more and more slow web sites. Most sites that I am visiting Chrome with loading very quickly, but when I hit a site with a slow connection, I can definitely see more of a difference now. Unfortunately, it's spoiling me, so I become impatient with the slow web sites. If you want to try it yourself, it's available for download.
