Teddy Bear Flash Drive

This product is a little more than just creepy. I am not sure I want a headless teddy bear attached to my laptop. It might be cute if the usb plug came out of his hand or his back, but you have to behead the poor guy to use it!

The Batmobile

The Batmobile from the movie Batman starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. It is certainly a blast from the past. It certainly any nerd's dream to drive home in the batmobile after a long day of work. Unfortunately, I will never be able to afford the $110,000 price tag. Hopefully, it will go to someone who will treat it right but not keep it locked away in some air conditioned garage for all of eternity.

Best Response to a Bug Report Ever

That's just hilarious. I have heard some goods one in my time, but this is really great. Some of the best are:

  • "It's not a bug; it's an undocumented feature."

  • "It isn't beta software. It is just new version that has never been released in production." (Yes, I have actually heard this one with my own ears.)

  • "Please make sure the modem is plugged in." - "I already told you what lights were lit up on the modem. How can it be unplugged?" - "Sir, please make sure it is plugged."

  • (After going through all the troubleshooting steps with an agent...) "It seems the service is down in your area."

  • Mac's response to the iphone not working on Vista 64bit system even though it listed Vista as an OS it works on was to quietly remove it.

Do you have any funny ones? Please put them in the comments.

PhoneSaber, Best iPhone App Ever

This application allowed you choose the color of the saber and would make lightsaber sounds when you swung. The sound depended on how you swung it. Even made the humming noise if you moved it slowly. Now they are taking it off the iTunes Store. I glad I still have mine, but I fear one day doing a restore or updating to the next major release.

Star Wars Parody

Speaking of Star Wars Parody reminded me of some old videos I've seen.

Troopers is just great. It's an old one. I am not really sure the original creator is. Anyone have any ideas?

This is full of laughs too.

This is a target commercial, but it's still cute.

It's subtitles to The Revenge of Sith Trailer, but it's still pretty funny.

Chad Vader, The Training Video

Blame Society Productions has started a new series for Chad Vader. If you haven't seen the first series, check it out. Do a search for season one of Chad Vader. Happy viewing!

The Captain's Chair

I am most certainly going to have to get me one of these for the living room in our new house. I have it all planned out where I want it and how to fit it in, but I just need to figure out how to convince my wife and be able to afford it.

Imperial Invasion of San Francisco

Why San Francisco? Surely, they could could of found a better city to choose?

Half-Blood Prince Pushed Back

Surprise, surprise, the new Harry Potter movie has been pushed back to July! They used the writer's strike as the excuse. I find that hard to swallow, but I guess it's possible. So much for a good winter movie. Anyone know of anything else that's good coming out this winter?

Batman: The Dark Knight, Parody

Parody Trailer:

They did a pretty good job. I bet they had a lot of fun.

Official Movie Trailer:

If you haven't seen this movie yet, you should. It's spectacular.

Classic with New Audio:

That's funny.

D&D: Fourth Edition

I still dislike fourth edition. Maybe it's the epic amount of 3.0 and 3.5 books I have, or that they just made it too video gamesque. I do find the movies they posted quite funny.

"*Growl* I am a monster!"

D&D: XP Hunters

These guys are pretty fun. I hope they keep churning these videos out.

Nerd + Dad = nerDad

I have been posting a number of off topic posts in sanctus dialogus, so I have decided to create another blog. This blog will focus more on my everyday observations as a father and a nerd. I want my other blog to focus on its own topics, theology and the church, without distraction. I don't think there should be a separation of secular and non-secular life, but I wouldn't want a preacher to get up on the pulpit to weigh the pro's and con's of Windows Vista for instance.
